The purpose of the design idea competition is to 1) establish a forest recreational site within 1888 hectares of National Rosewood (Dalbersia Cochinchinesis) seed source conservation area located in Bantey Srey, Siem Reap Province under management of the FA and to 2) revitalize the local communities around the site area. Proposed program for public use is 1) visitor center 2) accommodation 3) Education Center 4) Private villa type I, II, III 5) Public toilet 6) Parking area 7) Refurbishment of trail for forest walking 8) Camping site 9) Observation tower for wild animal 10) refurbishment of bicycle trail
Design intention is to find a harmony and integrate the man-made building and landscape in this natural surround to provide an relaxing atmosphere enhancing them to enjoy the stay.
